I’m Warren Rudd, a freelance Visual Development & Animation artist. I create immersive visual experiences that blend illustration, motion, and cinematic storytelling for museums, cultural institutions, experiential environments, agencies, and brands. My work includes collaborations with the Field Museum, Intuit Museum, and Waukegan History Museum, along with creative contributions to projects for brands including Google, Wrangler, and Ecolab.

My work spans museum installations, large-scale projections, and immersive entertainment environments, including a recent project for the interior of the Las Vegas Sphere. I specialize in visual development, abstract 3D design, procedural animation, and atmospheric storytelling, combining cinematic lighting, particle simulations, and painterly textures to create visuals that feel both handcrafted and alive. Whether developing imaginative museum environments or dynamic visuals for large-scale entertainment, my goal is to create experiences that transform spaces and invite audiences to look a little longer.

My creative contributions have been part of exhibitions covered by the Chicago Tribune, Block Club Chicago, and the American Library Association's I Love Libraries. The latter featured my illustration and animation work for the Ray Bradbury exhibit at the Waukegan History Museum, highlighting the visual storytelling behind the author's childhood memories and imaginative worlds.

Beyond creating the work, I enjoy sharing the ideas, processes, and stories behind it with audiences. I've presented my work at Chicago's Half Rez event at the Field Museum and delivered remarks at both the private opening and public grand opening of the Ray Bradbury exhibit. These experiences have given me opportunities to connect directly with audiences and communicate the creative thinking and collaboration behind immersive storytelling.
